Owner Of California ‘Trump House’ Fighting For Life After Brutal Attack….#

A 69-year-old California man is hospitalized in critical condition after being attacked near his San Diego home, which has become known throughout the area for its prominent patriotic and political displays.

Authorities responded Wednesday to reports of an assault in progress near East Mission Avenue and Buchanan Street, adjacent to the victim’s residence. Officers found the man suffering severe injuries, and a utility worker who witnessed the attack helped restrain the suspect until police arrived on scene.

The Victim’s Condition

The victim’s wife, Maria Garcia, spoke to reporters about his dire medical situation. “He tried to kill my husband,” Garcia told CBS 8, expressing her belief that her husband may not survive his injuries.

Garcia suggested the home’s visible patriotic decorations-which include American flags and pro-Trump displays-may have motivated the attack. “They don’t like the flags. I don’t know why. I support America,” Garcia said.

The Suspect and Investigation

Police identified the suspect as a man who fled the scene immediately after the attack but was located and arrested shortly thereafter. He is being held without bail at the Vista Detention Facility in San Diego County.

According to an acquaintance quoted by the California Post, the suspect is a Navy veteran experiencing significant mental health challenges. The acquaintance described him as increasingly paranoid, saying, “He sits in his room and thinks everyone is coming to get him.”

Investigators have not publicly confirmed whether the home’s political messaging played a role in the alleged attack. The residence has previously been targeted with vandalism and complaints due to its highly visible displays.

Official Response

California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa called for action following the incident. “Full and immediate investigation,” Issa wrote on social media, adding that supporters of President Trump are “routinely the victims of leftist violence all across the country.”

The home had become a recognizable landmark in the San Diego area, serving as a symbol of patriotic display for supporters in the region. The utility worker’s intervention may have prevented further harm, though the victim’s condition remains critical.
