Discovery of Nuclear Facility Staffer Raises Red Flags with Family.,,!!

The family of a federal laboratory employee whose remains were discovered in a New Mexico national forest more than a year after her disappearance is challenging investigators’ conclusion that she died by suicide.

The woman stopped reporting to work and vanished without explanation after visiting her daughter’s home. Family members say investigators found circumstances that contradict the suicide determination, prompting them to question the official conclusions.

Discovery and Investigation

A hiker located human remains in the McGaffey Ridge area of Carson National Forest. New Mexico State Police confirmed the remains belonged to the woman on Saturday.

A handgun was recovered near the body. However, investigators found her purse, driver’s license, and multiple cellphones recovered at separate locations, none with her person.

As of Thursday, officials had not publicly released a final cause or manner of death determination, leaving the case technically open.

Family’s Position

The family has retained a private investigator to examine the case further. They argue the evidence contradicts a voluntary death scenario and say additional investigation may be warranted.

Family members continue to dispute the suicide ruling based on the circumstances surrounding her disappearance and the discovery of her remains.
