The Prince of Wales presided over an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle, presenting honors to more than 50 individuals recognized for their contributions to communities across the United Kingdom.
The ceremony at one of the British monarchy’s most historic residences celebrated recipients from diverse professions and backgrounds. Catherine, Princess of Wales, also attended the event, which recognized achievements in public service, healthcare, education, business, charity work, and community leadership.
Patricia Sprouse, among those honored, described the experience on LinkedIn with admiration for the setting and the royal family’s warmth. “What an amazing experience. The castle was just breathtaking, and everyone was so lovely to us,” Sprouse wrote of her interaction with the Princess of Wales and her staff.
